Peer Reviewe Process

Peer Review Process

Indonesian Journal of Economics, Management and Law (IJEML)

01 All manuscripts submitted to the Indonesian Journal of Economics, Management and Law (IJEML) undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality, objectivity, and publication integrity.

02 The editorial team conducts an initial screening to assess the manuscript's relevance to the journal's aims and scope, compliance with the manuscript preparation guidelines, originality, and overall scholarly quality. Manuscripts that meet the initial requirements are subsequently assigned to independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area of the manuscript.

03 During the peer review process, the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, quality of analysis, clarity of presentation, relevance to the journal's scope, and overall scholarly contribution.

04 Based on the reviewers' recommendations and the editorial assessment, the editor may decide to accept the manuscript, request minor revisions, request major revisions, or reject the submission . Authors may be required to revise their manuscripts in response to reviewers' comments before a final editorial decision is made.

05 The final decision regarding publication is made by the editorial team of IJEML based on the quality of the manuscript, reviewers' recommendations, and the journal's editorial standards.
