AI Generated Policy
The Indonesian Journal of Economic, Management and Law (IJEML) permits the limited and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a supporting tool in manuscript preparation, including language checking, improvement of sentence clarity, translation, and technical editing.
AI Usage Policy
Permitted Uses
AI may be used to assist with grammar and spelling checks, improve sentence clarity, support translation, and perform technical editing, provided that such use does not replace the author's intellectual and scholarly contribution.
Authors' Responsibility
Authors remain fully responsible for the entire content of their manuscripts, including any content assisted by AI. Authors must ensure the originality, accuracy, reliability, and ethical integrity of their work.
Prohibited Uses
The use of AI to fabricate or manipulate research data, falsify research findings, generate fictitious references, misrepresent sources, or replace the author's substantive scholarly contribution is strictly prohibited.
Additional Requirements
AI Is Not an Author
Artificial Intelligence (AI) cannot be listed as an author or co-author because it cannot assume academic responsibility, accountability, or authorship obligations for the content of a scholarly article.
Transparency of AI Use
When AI is used substantially in the preparation of a manuscript, authors should disclose the use of AI to the editor and, where appropriate, describe the nature and purpose of its use in the manuscript.
Editorial Rights
The editor may request clarification, additional information, or manuscript revisions when AI use raises concerns regarding transparency, originality, accuracy, research integrity, or publication ethics.
